Eight of Shoes

The Metro sits on a park bench, consumed with ennui. Is it a transient mood-swing, easily remedied by adjusting his meds? Or has his long-limbed, fashionista sweetheart jilted him for a guy with better pecs, a home gym and a timeshare in Miami? We'll never know, thought the lonely airliner overhead suggests separation, distance and alienation.

Meaning: Estrangement, dented dreams.

Reversed: Ambition, revenge.
