The Subway is at once Underworld and Portal -- simultaneously destination and transition. You are lulled into a light trance by the motion of the rails and oncoming possibilities. What? We've arrived already? Night life awaits on the other side of those steel doors -- enervating clubs, intoxicating cocktails, intriguing strangers. You take a deep breath, wait for the chime, and you're off to the races.
